Unit 9 final project

                  I.            Introduction:
Why is it important for health and wellness professionals to develop psychologically, spiritually and physically? It is important for health and wellness professionals to develop psychologically, spiritually and physically because they will be successful in integral health treating the body as a whole and when you learn through personal experience of your own you will know how to better understand, connect with and treat your patients and community of any problems that may occur within their life. What areas do you need to develop to achieve the goals you have for yourself? I believe that my weakest point is psychologically have a lot of issues that I have to deal with within myself that I believe tend to affect the success of the healthiness of my body.
                II.            Assessment:
How have you assessed your health in each domain? I am healthy physically and I know this because being in the military I have no choice and they fix you when you are broken. Spiritually I am healthy as well because I have complete faith within my religion, but psychologically I am slipping a bit and need help in that area. How do you score your wellness spiritually, physically, and psychologically? 1 out of 10 points I score Spiritually-10, Physically-8 and psychologically-5
               III.            Goal development:
List at least one goal you have for yourself in each area, Physical I would love to gain weight and get up to about 140 pounds I have always been little and I have always wanted some meat on my bones, Psychological (mental health) is to deal with the issues that I have in the past to help me have a stress free life and loving healthy relationships with others and Spiritual my goal is to pray more often.
              IV.            Practices for personal health:
What strategies can you implement to foster growth in each of the following domains; Physical is exercising and eating healthy, Psychological is mediation and talking to close ones about my problems, and Spiritual is going to church and praying. Provide at least two examples of exercises or practices in each domain. Explain how you will implement each example.
               V.            Commitment:
How will you assess your progress or lack of progress in the next six months? What strategies can you use to assist in maintaining your long-term practices for health and wellness? I keep a journal of my day to day activities that affect me physically, psychological, and spiritually. The strategies that I use are staying positive and to keep motivating myself.

Unit 7 Two Exercises for the Population

The two the I would introduce as starters to see if my patients liked it would be the Universal Loving and Kindness Exercise I chose this one because I believe that the world would be a better place if we learned how to love and respect one another and be kind as well alot of problems and stress come from people being very rude and ignorant towards each other and it can also teach us how to love and respect ourselves because you have to accomplish that first before you can accomplish that with someone else and the Subtle Mind Exercise because it brings the mind at ease and with complete relaxation which I believe would be a great way to help them learned to start a stress free day.

Most Beneficial Unit 8

Being that I am getting my bachelor's in Health Sciences. I have sort a board field, so I am going to go with mind and visualization. I believe that this technique really helps. It helps you to think about the past and both the good and bad things that may have happened to help you cope with whatever you are going through at the time. This is a technique that you can do at any given time whether you are sitting or standing in a noisy or a quiet place. It can help bring you back to reality and calm when you could be going through a frustrating situation at the time.

Unit 6 Blog

I Belive that loving and kindness is the most difficult for not just my patients but myself and others as well. We live in a world where it is very cruel. You deal with many people who have different attitudes, manners, speech and so forth. Sometimes it is rather hard to exercise love and kindness especially to those who reject it when you are trying to show it towards them or their situations. I believe the way to prepare to assist your clients in developing regular practices that foster psychological and spiritual growth is to give them the knowledge that they need and to show them different exercises that could help them to start a routine of these practices.
